    2008

  • I re-joined the WestEnders fresh from their recent Cruise in the South Pacific (I was busy with Jerry Herman...) for a concert in Newbury on Friday 16th May, at the Corn Exchange, which was really fun. Lovely theatre and a great Audience. Thank you!

  • As part of a Crusaid fundraiser, I sang with Capital Voices at a Charity gala concert of "Jerry Herman's Broadway", at the London Palladium on 4th May 2008 - with the wonderful Angela Lansbury as the guest star!!.

  • Hot on the heels of Cole Porter, I spent a week in April in Guernsey, doing a workshop with students of the Guernsey Academy of Theatrical Eduction (GATE). We worked on material from 'West Side Story', and presented a showcase at the end of the week.

  • I was very excited to have been asked to sing with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in "The Cole Porter Celebration" for two concerts on the 4th & 5th April. This was an adaptation of the successful show which I have sung with Capital Voices before in London & Birmingham. The BSO was conducted by Pete Harrison and the singers were Annie Skates, Janet Mooney, James Spilling & myself.

  • I performed with the WestEnders for their tour of the Netherlands from the 14th to the 22nd of February, and also in Clacton-on-Sea in March.

  • "Moonshadow" is a new musical exploring the songs of Cat Stevens. I was part of the ensemble for a Workshop presentation of the show in February 2008. The workshop was in association with Cole Kitchenn. The book is written by Stephen Plaice, who wrote the book for "Daddy Cool", who is working with the songwriter himself, now known as Yusuf Islam.

  • The New Year brought some new venues, and I travelled to Germany & Belgium with the WestEnders for concerts in Essen (Germany) and Hasselt (Belgium).

    2007

  • The last bit of work for 2007 - and one of my favourites! Dec 15th singing with Capital Voices at the Royal Albert Hall for "White Christmas" again. Lots of Christmas songs and tunes, and lots of fun!

  • During a week off from 'The Producers' Tour I was able to perform with the WestEnders in November for a corporate client at Chewton Glenn Hotel in Hampshire.

  • "The Producers" began it's 1st UK Tour in February 2007 and I continued to play the same various roles in the show which I played in the West End production, covering Leo Bloom, Roger DeBris and the 'Lead Tenor'. I took over the role of Roger DeBris for part of the run in Cardiff. You can read all the news from the tour on the "Producers News" page.

  • Although a little last minute, I was pleased to be able to join the WestEnders in September for an outdoor performance for Meriel to celebrate their anniversary, in the beautiful Sussex countryside.

  • At the beginning of August 2007 I took part in a workshop of a new musical titled "Odette - The Secret of Swan Lake", with book by Murray Woodfield, and music lyrics by Alexander S. Bermange. We did a 'rehearsed reading' for a Producers' Showcase at the end of the week, and there is a full production at the Bridewell Theatre later in the year (without me in it of course!)

  • On the 19th August I sang with Capital Voices as part of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala at the Mermaid Theatre. This was hosted by Denise Van Outen and broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on Friday 24th August, 7:30pm.

  • In February, the 'Essential Musical' on EP's show on BBC Radio 2 was Martin Guerre. Along with a number of tracks from both the Original London and 1999 Cast Recordings was yours truly with Matt Cammelle singing "Without You As A Friend".

  • January 6th saw the final performance of "The Producers" at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. It was a great experience to work at the theatre and also on such a great show.

    2006

  • December and January were 'filled out' with days spent up at Pinewood Studios and at Air Lyndhurst Studios working on the soundtrack for the 'Sweeney Todd' movie. I will be part of the ensemble on the soundtrack, and also spent some time helping as a 'stand-in' for Johnny Depp for rehearsals.

  • Following the success of the concert in Manchester during April 2006, I sang with Capital Voices as we reprived the Cole Porter Celebration during December - on Thurs 28th at Birmingham Symphony Hall and on Sat 30th Dec at the Barbican, London.

  • I enjoyed performing in the "White Christmas" concerts this year, as I missed out last year whilst performing in 'Scrooge'. There were 2 concerts on Sunday 17th Dec at the Royal Albert Hall, an evening performance on Monday 18th Dec at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham and a Matinee performance on Friday 22nd Dec again at the Royal Albert Hall.

  • I sang on the demo of a new musical "Golden Fleece", which was recorded in October in London

  • Taking over the 'best man's speech' was part of our role at a wedding celebration in October at the Grosvenor Hotel for Wandering Minstrel

  • 2006 marked the 21st Anniversary of "Les Miserables", and I was asked to join with the current cast of the show, performing at the Queens Theatre, along with some other "previous cast members" to be part of a special recording of the show at the Mermaid Theatre. This was broadcast on Radio 2 on the 8th October 2006.

  • I sang on the soundtrack for the movie "The 300" in September 2006.

  • My final two performances with the WestEnders before going into the Producers were in Aldershot and Thurrock.

  • I sang at a Dinner Cabaret at the URC in Farnham, which raised over £1,300 for an AIDs charity in South Africa on the 16th June.

  • The 18th June was spent in sunny Scarborough with the WestEnders performing "The Best Musicals Ever!"

  • I travelling to Norway for a c ouple of days in June to record some promotional material for the English language version of "Terje Vigen" - a musical version of Ibsen's poem, by Kjell-Ole Haune. I hope to have video excerpts on the site soon.

  • June's "WestEnders" offerings included St Mary's Church, Horse Fair, Banbury.

  • Manchester seems to be the place for me this year, as I took part in "Another Kind Of Magic" (with West End International) on the 3rd June 2006. We performed outdoors at Capesthorne Hall in aid of St. Ann's Hospice.

  • My recent appearances with the WestEnders included the Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare on Sat 27th May.

  • The 21st May saw a number of us "session singer" types join with the cast of the new West End production of "Evita" to record the new cast recording at Angel Studios.

  • On Saturday 22nd April I appeared in a "Tribute to Cole Porter" at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester with Capital Voices.

  • I was very excited to be with the WestEnders again "off shore" on our first trip aboard Cunard's QM2. We sailed from Esmeraldas in Ecuador to Punta Arenas in Chile, over 2 weeks. My last performances for Cunard were back in April 2004 aboard the QE2, as we made the historic "tandem crossing" of the Atlantic with her sister ship the QM2 - so it was great to actually be onboard the QM2 this time!

    2005

  • From November 15th 2005 I was playing Harry and young Ebenezer in the UK Tour of "Scrooge" with Shane Richie.We toured to Southampton, Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford and Liverpool until Feb 18th 2006.

  • Throughout 2005 I was doing a number of shows with the WestEnders across the country in the "The Best Musicals Ever" tour, with recent venues including the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh, Eden court Theatre, Inverness and the Cresset Theatre, Peterborough.

  • I sang on the new album for "Son Of Dork" at the beginning of October 2005 with Metro Voices.

  • On the 2nd October 2005 I played the role of Laurie in a Gala Concert version of the musical "Little Women" at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, with Carrie Hilton, Dave Willetts, Dillie Keane, and with narration by Sandi Toksvig. The London show was by the British composer/ lyricist Lionel Segal, (based on the book Louisa M Alcott), whose other stage musicals include 'World in My Pocket' and 'The Pied Piper'

  • Amid rehearsals for "Little Women" I was singing with the WestEnders at the Rosehill Theatre in Whitehaven.
  • We were singing as the WestEnders at the lovely Arts Centre in Haverhill on the 11th Sep 2005, and at the Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth on the 1th Sept.

  • At the end of August 2005 I was involved in a photo shoot for an upcoming T-Mobile advertising campaign. Photos to follow.

  • In August 2005 I recorded the role of Rick on the demo recording of a new show "The Price Of Fame" which is due to be released for perusal in November.

  • "The Best Musicals Ever!" tour continued during August 2005 with performances at the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury and the Mercury Theatre, Colchester.

  • Having been involved in a production of Ken Hill's "Phantom Of The Opera" a few years ago, I was contacted by the owner of the unofficial website and asked a few questions about my experiences with the show. You can read the interview here.

  • This summer I was involved in the soundtrack recordings of a couple of movies - the new "Wallace & Gromit" film - 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit', and also Tim Burton's new animated film - "Corpse Bride". I was also doing backing vocals on one of the tracks on Sarah Brightman's new album.

  • I was involved with Capital Voices in a performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'World Premiere' public performance of their 1965 musical "The Likes Of Us" at the Mermaid Theatre on the 12th of July 2005. This was played on Radio 2 on 21st October 2005.

  • "The Best Musicals Ever!" tour continued during July 2005 with performances at the Danson Festival, Bexleyheath; the Buxton Opera House; Library Theatre, Luton; Tamworth Assembly Rooms; the Whitley Bay Playhouse and the Camberley Theatre.<.

  • In June 2005 I filmed a reconstruction for the next showing of "Crimewatch" for the BBC (Vital Productions), which was broadcast on the 13th July.

  • On the 19th June, I joined other members of the WestEnders in the CRUSAID "Walk For Life" 2005. This was a 10km sponsored stroll through central London for HIV & AIDS. Thanks to all those who spponsored us!

  • Our WestEnders tour continued during May & June 2005 with performances at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing; Churchill Theatre, Bromley; the Buxton Opera House and the Library Theatre, Luton.

  • I was involved in two recording sessions for the vocal tracks of the new "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" film soundtrack in mid-May, at Abbey Road Studios.

  • The WestEnders performed a special show for a private party in Cobham on Saturday 30th April.

  • I took part in two productions in the Greenwich Musical Futures series in May 2005 - "Perfect Timing" and "The Dying Game". Musical Futures, now in it's 6th year, showcases many new musicals in development, giving the writers the invaluable opportunity to see their work presented in front of an audience, and giving that audience a sneak preview of some of the hit musicals of tomorrow.

  • At the beginning of May I spent a few sessions recording the full English version of Kjell-Ole Haune's "Terje Vigen".

  • We continued the performances of "The Best Musicals Ever" with the WestEnders during April 2005 at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton; Pavilion Theatre, Weymouth; Torch Theatre, Milford Haven; Wyeside Arts Centre, Builth Wells; Marine Theatre, Fleetwood, Lancs;Thameside Theatre, Grays, Essex and the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl.

  • During March, the venues We continued our performances of "The Best Musicals Ever" at the Blackwood Miner's Institute, the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth; The Broadway Theatre, Barking; Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl and the Palace Theatre, Southend.

  • The first of this year's concerts with the WestEnders in February: the New Wimbledon Theatre, Epsom Playhouse, Landmark Theatre - Ilfracombe, Royal Spa Centre, Leamington Spa and the Theatre Royal, Brighton.

  • On the 3rd February 2005 I did a couple of recording sessions in London, doing close-harmony Library stock of show tunes, jazz numbers, 40s-50s style songs etc.

    2004

  • On the 29th December 2004 I was singing with Capital Voices in a Rodgers and Hammerstein Gala. The show was at the Barbican Hall, London, with the London Concert Orchestra and singers Claire Moore and Graham Bickley. Featuring excerpts from 'The King & I', 'South Pacific', 'Oklahoma' etc.

  • A recording of the "Disney Prom in the Park" which I sang in during the summer was aired on BBC1 on the 27th Dec 2004.

  • I took part in the two "White Christmas" concerts again this year. The first two being at the Royal Albert Hall on 19th December with Shona Lindsay & Simon Bowman. Then the following evening at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.

  • I sang the role of William in a reading of "The Silk Handkerchief" - a musical by Ian Chappell & Jenny Whittaker, at the Royal Academy on Friday 17th December.

  • "A Christmas Wish" was a new musical which took place at the Journal Tyne Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne. I performed alongside the Drama North Juniors in three shows from 1st - 3rd Dec.

  • The Wales Millenium Centre Cardiff Bay - a 104-million pounds arts complex - opened with a three-day extravaganza including a gala concert; a music, sound and light spectacular; and a Royal Gala performance featuring Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel, from the 26th - 28th November, which was shown on BBC 4 on Saturday 4th December.

  • I was very pleased to have been asked to join with the current London cast of Les Miserables when they performed a special concert version of the show for The Queen and Jacques Chirac, at Windsor Castle on November 18th. I was singing as part of the 25 strong choir of former Les Miserables performers, which combined with the current cast members for the 35 minute show.

  • I sang a number of songs from Cameron Mackintosh's current West End shows for UK Inbound at their re-launch conference party in November. This was at Madame Tussauds.

  • I made my last appearance with the WestEnders this year at the Sevenoaks Playhouse, Kent on Friday 15th October.

  • I sang in a couple of Ensemble numbers from Martin Seager's "Spinsters" at the Writing Block in Covent Garden on the 3rd October.

  • The WestEnders performed at the Dolman Theatre, in Newport, Gwent on Saturday 2nd October, with guest local artiste Christie Sicola.

  • On Friday 24th September 2004, I appeared in a staged Concert version of a show I have been involved with a couple of times - Blude Red. We performed at the Edinburgh International Convention Centre. The cast included Charles Shirvell, Lindsey Danvers, Heather Panton, Dominic Gray, Cameron Stout, Katrina Graham and Graham McNeill.

  • I had a great time singing in the most recent show from "Notes From New York" on Sunday 19th September. This was the 4th show in the series, which is the West End's first and only regular platform for contemporary US musical theatre. Please see the website for details.

  • Another Recording session at Abbey Road studios, at the beginning of September for a new album from a French composer.

  • I sang backing vocals in a concert for Disney on September 12 - in Hyde Park with the BBC Concert Orchestra.

  • The WestEnders performed twice at the beginning of September - for both Corporate and Theatre audiences. On Friday 3rd Sept at the Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth, and then Saturday 4th Sept in Watford for Carlsberg Corp.

  • Another Recording session on 23rd August at Abbey Road studios, London this time for an album to be released later in the year - details to follow.

  • On the 21st August 2004 I was singing with Electravox in "Another Kind Of Magic". This was West End International's celebration of the music of Queen, as part of the English Heritage - 'Music on a Summer Evening' series.

  • Once more back to Wales with the WestEnders. We sang at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl on the 6th August - competing with gorgeous sunny weather and the Big Brother finale!!

  • On the 31st of July I was singing as part of Electravox in "Another Kind Of Magic" at Audlet End House. This is West End International's celebration of the music of Queen, as part of the English Heritage - 'Music on a Summer Evening' series.

  • The WestEnders had their latest concert on the 23rd July at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley - a little closer to home!

  • On the 7th July I did a recording session for "Holiday On Ice" at the Phoenix Studios in London.

  • At the end of June I did a couple of recording sessions for the soundtrack of a TV Film version of "A Christmas Carol". They were for the musical version, created and directed by the late Mike Ockrent, featuring songs by composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors) and lyricist Lynn Ahrens. It is being produced by Hallmark Entertainment in association with NBC - to be broadcast at Thanksgiving in the states - not in the UK yet.

    Some of the stars of the film include Kelsey Grammer (FRAZIER) who plays Ebenezer Scrooge; Jason Alexander (SEINFELD) Jesse L. Martin (LAW & ORDER) and Jane Krakowski (ALL McBEAL). Jennifer Love Hewitt will play Emily, Scrooge's lost love, while Geraldine Chaplin will play the Ghost of Christmas Future.

  • I sang with the WestEnders on the 21st June at the Grand Theatre in Swansea, as part of our "The Best Musicals Ever" tour.

  • Last year I did the demo recording of Elton John's new musical version of 'Billy Elliott', and on the 22nd June, we will be doing the Press Release to promote the show at the Royal Academy.

  • At the beginning of June, I took part in a rehearsed reading of a new musical - "Anna Karenina", at the King's Head Theatre, London. Book & Lyrics were by Peter Kellog, and Music by Dan Levine.

  • I was doing some recording at the Whitfield Street studios in London on the 18th May, doing vocals as part of the "Phantom Of The Opera" Film Soundtrack.

  • At the end of April (2004) I was singing with the WestEnders on the QE2 for her final Transatlantic Voyage. The voyage was with the Queen Mary 2, which was steaming alongside the QE2 in a historic tandem transatlantic crossing.

  • During February and March, the WestEnders were once again onboard the Caronia, travelling around eastern South America, and across the Atlantic.

  • February 2004 The first of this year's "The Best Musicals Ever!" Theatre performances this year in Port Talbot at the Princess Royal Theatre. The show was a sell out success, and with future bookings already in place at the venue.

    2003

  • December 2003 The WestEnders performed a 45 minute set at the Crisis Main Shelter in south London.

  • December 2003 For our penultimate performances of 2003, The WestEnders were back on board Cunard's QE2, and sailing from Barbados to Southampton.

  • November 2003 The WestEnders sang 'Silent Night', with James Bugden as MD, as part of the 'Theatrecares At Chirstmas' celebration at St Paul's Church (The Actor's Church) in Covent Garden, London. Other groups and individuals taking part included the casts of the Lion King, Blood Brothers & Joseph, with readings by Celia Imrie and Alex Jennings.

  • October 2003 The WestEnders performed 4 shows on Cunard's QE2. They sailed from Southampton, on to Tenerife, then Salvador de Bahia, Brazil and finally Montevideo in Uruguay. The girls were particularly excited to be flying back through a location mentioned in one of our selections - Buenos Aries, from "Evita"!

  • September 2003 The WestEnders sang a specially created set for a private Wedding in Herstmonceux, Sussex.

  • I has been working with "The Westenders" Cabaret group since early 2003. (http://www.westenderscabaret.com/) They provide top quality Cabaret for Corporate Events, Concerts, and as a headline act for the top Cruise lines. He has performed with the WestEnders on Cunard's QE2, Caronia and also the Crystal Symphony, along with a number of corporate and Theatre performances. I was most recently working with them on the QE2 in it's 'Farewell Transatlantic' Season.

  • On Saturday 16th August, I sang vocals with Electravox in a concert called "Another Kind of Magic - Queen - A Symphonic Rock Spectacular" at Kenwood House in London, as part of the English Heritage - 'Music on a Summer Evening' series.

  • On May 8th 2003, I appeared with Opera Souffle their new cabaret show at the Langham Hilton Hotel, London. "Darling Divas and Barry Tone BeStard" is a Dinner Cabaret show combining comedy and Opera, made up of four 'sets', which take place around a sumptuous dinner in the Hotel's magnificent 'Memories' restaurant.

  • I was involved in a Cabaret at Lauderdale House in February, with my friend Craig Price www.craig-price.com. This was our first cabaret appearance together, and hopefully we'll do some more in the future.

  • I also took part in a production of "Weird & Wonderful" by Alexander Bermange, at the Wimbledon Synagogue on 9th February 2003.

    2002

  • At the end of 2002 I was in a recording session for Martin McCutcheon's new album. Singing backing vocals on "White Christmas", "What I did for Love", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "I Dreamed a Dream" and was on "An Audience With..." for Martine in November as well. This has since been released on DVD/Video by

  • I sang in two sessions for the Demo of Elton John's new musical, a ve rsion of the film "Billy Elliot" which is soon to be produced in London's West End.

  • After that I will be doing backing vocals for this year's "Royal Variety Performance" in December. Details to follow.

  • During October 2002 I was working at the Christchurch Cathedral in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. He was playing Abelard in the World Premiere production of "Abelard & Heloise" - a musical piece composed by Ross Fiddes. It was produced by Shakespeare et al. and was performed on 10-12 & 17-19 October 2002. Prior to working in Australia, I was in Norway, where on the 21st & 22nd September 2002, he was in another concert version of "Tonight" (the new musical he appeared in during October 2000 at the Peacock Theatre, London) in Oslo. This was with a number of the original performers from the UK and also new Norwegian and Swedish singers & actors, and the National Radio Orchestra of Norway.

  • I spent most of 2002 working for Walt Disney in the cast of "Encore!" (a "Broadway-Revue-type-show") at Tokyo Disney Sea in Japan. See the pictures on the Sights & Sounds page, and some more background on the Journal page.

    2001

  • I was involved in the "Showtime At The Stadium" concert - aired on BBC1. This was a concert of Musical Theatre songs performed by performers such as Steps, S-Club-7, Blue, Ruthie Henshall, Kim Criswell, Petula Clarke, Charlotte Church amongst others, recorded back in October 2001. If you watched carefully, he was on stage for the Bui Doi number in the Miss Saigon section!

  • I was recording vocals on a number for BBC television, aired as part of Lesley Garrett's new season of programmes. There was to be more, and some "on camera" work as well - but this was cut!

  • I took part in a charity concert down in Beaulieu on Saturday 17th November - this included various songs from the shows - including Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chess, Les Miserables and others. He also be spent some time in the studio in November, including some sessions for a demo of a new musical based on the Rasputin Story and also a new rock-musical version of 'Romeo & Juliet', on which I was singing the role of Benvolio.

  • At the end of November I was in a short Showcase version of a new musical that was featured in last year's Vivian Ellis Awads- "When Harry Met Barry". He was playing Harry, and the rest of the cast were Anna Francolini, Paul Peacock and James Gillan. This was a lunchtime Backers Showcase at the Curzon Cinema on Shaftesbury Avenue, hoping to lead to financial and production backing for the show to take it to the next stage, which will probably be a full workshop of the piece.

  • A highlights CD of "Merrick" is available at Dress Circle, with all proceeds going to Noah's Ark (Teenage Cancer Trust), North London Hospice and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

  • I took part in the "Showtime at the Stadium" concert at Cardiff's new Millennium Stadium on October 20th. The concert was broadcast live on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 2 and highlights were broadcast on BBC One later in the year. For more information, please visit the BBC Wales website

  • In September I was involved in a staged concert production of "Jerry Springer - The Opera" - written by Richard Thomas. We played 8 performances at the BAC, which were sold out towards the end of the run! He was part of the "trailer-trash" audience which was great fun. For those of you who don't know anything of Jerry Springer, you would only have to watch one of his shows to get the picture.... not for the feint hearted. There is a further three-week run planned for early next year so watch this space!

  • I was also involved with a new musical (yes another one!!!) called "MERRICK". This was being produced by Pirate Management as a Showcase version of a new musical based on the life of John Merrick ("the Elephant Man"). We did two performances for Charity, at The Pleasance Theatre in Islington on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th July. A highlights CD of the show is available at Dress Circle, with all proceeds going to Noah's Ark (Teenage Cancer Trust), North London Hospice and Great Ormond Street Hospital.   • I sang in a Memorial Concert for David Henneker, which was at St Martin's-In-The-Fields Church on Tuesday 26th June.

  • I sang in another concert in Edinburgh on the 13th August. This included songs from a variety of shows including "Godspell", "Civil War" and also selections from "Crusade" - the show hewas appearing in at last year's Edinburgh Festival, and "Blude Red", the new musical that he was involved in earlier this year.

  • In March 2001, I was in the Showcase production of the new musical "Blude Red" in which he played the role of James Renwick.

  • I was a soloist and in the ensemble for West End Internationsl's "Stars of the Musicals" which performed for 6 shows at the Putra Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in January 2001

    2000

  • I took part in a musical adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" in which he played Darcy. The show played at the Westminster Theatre in London from Tuesday 26th September until Wednesday 4th October. 2000. It was a "romantic musical comedy" adapted from the novel by June Elvin and with music and Lyrics by Anthony Jason.

  • I played the role of Max in another new musical called "Tonight" which had a one night showcase performance at the Peacock Theatre on Sat 21st October 2000. The piece was written and composed by Kjell-Ole Haune

  • I played the role of Michael in a production of a musical called "Crusade", at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It played at Greyfriars Kirk, from Friday 18th August until Thursday 24th August 2000. The show was to be a "musical concert" but with costumes, lights, sound, projections, staging and set it was really a full-scale production. Directed by Gary Young. The musical was written by Craig Christie with Wayne Hosking, and is based on a true story set in Medieval France during the Crusades.

  • I did some backing vocals at a concert called 'West End Winners' on June 23rd 2000 at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank Centre, London, with BBC Concert Orchestra.

  • I took part in a concert at The Millfield Theatre, Edmonton on Sunday, May 7th 2000 and also at The Theatre Royal, Lincoln on 11th and 12th May 2000.

    1999

  • The "Martin Guerre" tour continued through the year until August, when we closed at the Bristol Hippodrome.

    1998

  • The UK Tour of "Martin Guerre" (West Yorkshire Playhouse production) filled my time in 1998 from October and into the new year.

  • A Sunday concert gave a couple of us in the cast of Les Miserables to be part of the 'West End Chorus' in a celebration of Stephen Sondheim's work at the Barbican - "Sondheim Tonight". (See the Shop page for details of the recording.

    1997

  • My first professional show was in "Les Miserables" in the West End, at the Palace Theatre. I was cast as a swing and cover to Enjolras.
